New temporary exhibition at NYUAD: Speculative Landscapes

Since the launch of the NYUAD Art Gallery, the landscape has been a recurring theme. This exhibition takes viewers into the imagined worlds of four UAE-based artists.

Through a close study of their surrounding in the Emirates, each of the artists reflects on how our future will look like. The artists each raises questions about how organisms – whether human or other – create, survive and inhabit our natural, artificial and virtual worlds.

‘Speculative Landscapes’ will be open from 16 September until 7 December 2019 at the NYUAD Art Gallery in Abu Dhabi.
