Museum fit-out Abu Dhabi

On November 19, exhibition Lest We Forget opened its doors at Warehouse421, a cultural destination and exhibition space in Abu Dhabi’s port area of Mina Zayed.

Officially opened on November 19, 2015, Warehouse421 takes its name from warehouses that have been transformed to become a platform for artistic expression, understanding, and further development of the UAE’s creative community. Three key exhibitions will be previewed at this time, presenting themes of memory and transformation, two elements which play a strong part in the growth and establishment of Abu Dhabi. Through the exhibition, Lest We Forget: Emirati Family Photographs 1950-1999 the UAE’s history is revisited through a series of never before seen photographs dating back from the 1950s.

Lest We Forget is a major grassroots arts and heritage initiative that aims to archive, preserve and share vernacular photographs and oral histories of the UAE through its website, workshops and exhibitions. Newly launched under the auspices of the Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation, Lest We Forget is a community-based initiative that welcomes public participation.

Hypsos scope of work for the Lest We Forget Exhibition covers manufacturing & installation of scenery works, furniture, graphics, this together with object supply and installation, all which are combined in a great venue which is a must-see for everyone.
