Fatima Bint Mohamed Initiative
Fatima Bint Mohamed Initiative’s Artists for Change Programme is a collaboration between well-known UAE artists and underprivileged artisans in Afghanistan, which aims to raise awareness of the cause and promote their talents in the Emirates.
The activation unveils the largest yarn ball ever assembled in the region with a diameter of three meters in the shopping mall Festival City in Dubai. The ball of yarn is hand-crafted out of 100% indigenous wool, hand-spun by female weavers and dyed with natural vegetable dyes from Afghanistan.
Based on the long term relationship of Hypsos ME in Dubai with their customer trusted them being their preferred partner to make this activation a great success. Our mandate includes the full execution of this prestigious project to the design which has been carefully created by our customer, the FBMI.
Project has been managed by Hypsos ME with a project lead time of less than 2 weeks after receiving the confirmation.
